Its weight ranges from 45 to 65 pounds. Its height varies from 13 to 15 inches. Its color can be any hound color type which is white, brown, black, red. It is covered by a lengthy coat which has to be cut every now and then. But this coat helps them to keep warm during winter seasons. It is one of the ideal household pets to have.

It howls and barks very loudly and sometimes can warn its master when danger is near. It has very long ears, they are lazy, but they look after others very carefully. They have a stubborn personality but not at all timid. It’s a fun loving puppy basically so it should not be treated aggressively. Though they are lazy, they are affectionate and a peaceful pet. Regular brushing, bathing, and a trim here and there is suggested. It should be wiped with a towel as soon as it is taken out of bath tub. Its ears are too cleaned properly and any dirt should be scrubbed off. It is called a lazy puppy which loves to over eat. So lots of exercise needed with this breed.
